Server Setup (homemade) Empty

ok this is a litttle tutorial for those that either dont know how to do it, or that simply forgot.

first of you launch game.

now create game, and there are some settings that needs to be edited, this is how i did it:

[Maxplayers: 10] make sure you chose human tho

[Maxping: 300] i really dont know if this matters that much, 0 should work as well

[Maxrate: 25000]

[autodownload: no]

[Dedicated: Internet] this one is important

there are other settings but you'll figure those out, just basics about votes and force etc.

now you're done with the first part, then launch.

you will now get back to your desktop with a console running. There is a textfield at the very bottom of it, and then type:
Dedicated 1, or perhaps it was 0. you'll find out.

you will then get back to your game, chose create game once again, chose [Dedicated: no] this time. and launch game.

having tons of pk3files, that has npc support may be a problem sometimes.

thank you for your time.

Alternatively you can run using the JampDed.exe for version 1.00. It's a bit more complicated but is a lot more stable for running a dedicated server.
All you need to do is put JampDed.exe into your game directory where Jamp.exe/jasp.exe is located. Create a server.cfg in your Base folder and create a short cut to your JampDed.exe. In the target field of the JampDed shortcut put at the end of it -exec server.cfg.
